Al-Nahrain Center Organizes a Specialized Workshop on the Economic Structure of Fiscal and Monetary Policies in Iraq

The Economic Studies Department at Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies, affiliated with the National Security Advisory, in cooperation with Osoul Foundation for Economic Development and Sustainable Development, organized a specialized workshop entitled (The Economic Structure of Fiscal and Monetary Policies in Iraq) on Wednesday, 28 October 2026, at the headquarters of Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies.

The workshop witnessed the participation of representatives of the relevant sectoral entities in ministries and independent bodies, alongside a distinguished group of academics, experts, and specialists in economic and development affairs. Its topics addressed ways to develop fiscal and monetary policies and enhance the efficiency of the Iraqi economic structure.

The workshop concluded with a series of specialized discussions and contributions that resulted in the formulation of a number of recommendations and proposals aimed at supporting fiscal and monetary policies and strengthening sustainable economic development pathways, in a manner that contributes to developing the national economy and providing decision-makers with the necessary insights and solutions.
