Al-Nahrain Center Participates in a Workshop on Disaster Management, Radiological Emergencies, and Enhancing Institutional Preparedness

Dr. Qutaiba Jaber, Head of the Crisis Management Department and member of the National Center for Crises and Disasters, participated in an awareness workshop on the management of nuclear and radiological disasters and emergencies and the mechanisms of early preparedness to address them. The workshop was organized by the Civil Defense Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the National Authority for Nuclear, Radiological, Chemical and Biological Regulatory Control, and was attended by representatives from a number of ministries and government institutions.

The workshop aimed to enhance institutional awareness of the risks associated with radiological incidents and ways of dealing with them within the framework of national efforts aimed at raising levels of preparedness and emergency response, in line with the requirements of safety and national security.
